Canadian College of Ayurveda & Yoga offers the part time certificate course to become Ayurveda Therapist, which is the most comprehensive curriculum in the field of Ayurvedic Medicine and Yoga in Canada. The entire course is based on the guidelines set in World Health Organizations (WHO) guidance document titled “Benchmark for Training in Ayurveda” published in 2010. In addition to providing students with training in the fundamental principles and practices of Ayurveda and Yoga at Canadian College of Ayurveda & Yoga students are trained as Experts of Ayurveda Diet & Lifestyle Management, Preventive Medicine, Diagnosing Imbalance of Bio-energies through special Pulse Reading Techniques, Tongue Examination and other methods of diagnosis, Formulating herbal extracts and blends, Detoxification of body through Panchkarma and successful management of incurable chronic diseases. Students are also trained in Yoga Exercises, disease management through yogic postures, yogic lifestyle management, application of yoga in sports and many lifestyle fields.
Pre Requisite : Completed Ontario Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D.), or its equivalent, or post-secondary education in Canada.
​Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Dentists, Homeopaths, Naturopaths, Osteopaths, Orthomolecular Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners, trained in North America and International Graduates who have completed their medical education from accredited recognised universities overseas can also apply.
